Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of marketing programs within agreed timelines.
- Finding new ways of securing more potential customers and building strong relationships with clients / customers for business growth & profitability.
- Carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
- Aggressively achieving the sales target.
- Building and retaining client relationships through continuous follow up with clients for their requirements and improve client retention rate.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
- Keep regular interaction with key clients for better extraction and expansion.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
- Invoicing & following up for payments / collection etc with the clients.
- Interaction / co-ordination with other departments for the flow of information required by the Marketing department.
- Maintaining a database of proposals and also relevant market data.
- Organizing and attending conferences, exhibitions and seminars.
- Keeping an eye on the activity of company’s competitors.
- Prepare, review and edit RFP responses and other important sales proposals
- Understanding the general/technical features and requirement of the company’s products and services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of HND
- With at least 5 years experience.
- Science/Engineering background.
- Communication, Presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Target driven with a strong determination to succeed.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent use of MS office suites especially excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to generate bids
- Negotiation skills
- Detail oriented
